99X Unplugged In The Park 2010

With the return of spring in Atlanta it could only mean one thing.  Atlanta's BEST and longest running FREE summer concert series is back.

99X's Organic X presents Unplugged in the Park 2010.  In it's 8th consecutive season Unplugged in the Park is the place to be all summer long.  With 20 Sunday's of FREE, 21 and older, open to the general public shows.  Set in Piedmont Park and Park Tavern, all in the shadows of the magnificent Midtown Atlanta Skyline, Unplugged in the Park has grown to be one of the best and most respected summer music series in the Southeast.

This year we kick off the series on Sunday, June 6th and don't stop till we reach October 24.  That's nearly half a year of free music.

Now that you have been informed you have no excuse so clear your Sunday's now and make plans to join Organic X host Matt Jones for the 2010 Unplugged in the Park Summer Concert series.  Sunday starting June 6th at Park Tavern at Piedmont Park.

Some of the hundreds of artists that Unplugged in the Park has brought to Atlanta include The Fray, Blue October, Pete Yorn, Rocco DeLuca, The Lee Boys, Regina Spektor, Band of Horses, Ben Kweller, Matt Costa, Glen Phillips, Kevn Kinney, Jason Isbell, The Zac Brown Band, Matt Pond PA, The Apples in Stereo, Angie Aparo and tons more!

A note about parking at Park Tavern

As of July 1st the Atlanta Beltline has contracted Lanier Parking to manage the parking lot adjacent to Park Tavern in Midtown Atlanta. A fee will be charged to park and all fees collected will benefit the Atlanta Beltline. The Atlanta Beltline is the most ambitious undertaking the City of Atlanta has attempted since the construction of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The Atlanta Beltline will transform the City’s infrastructure and the way people live, work and play. One of the main goals is to build a trail that will connect the city’s parks and communities. The Northeast corridor of the East Side Trail starts at Piedmont Park across the street from Park Tavern. As supporters of the Park and our community, we at Park Tavern are very excited about the development of the trail and of the mobility that will be afforded to people who may wish to bicycle from one part of the city to another! The fee is $3 Monday through Friday, $5 Saturday and Sunday and $10 for special events at Piedmont Park as well as Park Tavern. The Atlanta Beltline has contracted with Lanier Parking to manage this parking lot. The fees will fund the further development and growth of the Beltline. Thank you for your understanding and support of The Atlanta Beltline’s East Side Trail!
